Matt Wilkinson has ripped his way to 2nd place, coming up just short to Taj Burrow in the final of the 2012 O'neill Cold Water Classic. Wilko's raw surfing, backhand heroics, and loose approach earned him the support of the judges and the locals of Santa Cruz.
With this finish, which happens to be a career best, Wilko leaps into solid ground for World Tour requalification and a slot on the 2013 ASP World Tour.
