Champions Crowned at Coolum Beach After Exciting Finals Day of the 2021 Rip Curl GromSearch.

Event one of the 2021 Rip Curl GromSearch series is complete with six new champions crowned in ripping 2-4 foot conditions..

Finals day of the 2021 Rip Curl GromSearch Sunshine Coast wrapped up at Coolum Beach in 2-3ft punchy waves. The morning started with clean offshore conditions before moderate onshore conditions kicked in.

The event was a huge success and has kicked the 2021 Rip Curl GromSearch Series off to a remarkable start, with the top three surfers in each division securing a spot in the Rip Curl GromSearch National Final.

The winner of the 16 & Under Girls Division was Lilliana Bowrey (NOOSA), with Ty Richardson (PALM BEACH) winning the Boys Division.

In the 14 & Under Girls Division, Isla Huppatz (GOLD COAST) took the win in a closely fought heat, with Rico Haybittle (PALM BEACH) taking home the honours in the Boys Division.

The 12 & Under Girls Division was won by Eliza Richardson (SUNSHINE BEACH), with Hunter Andersson (MOFFAT BEACH) winning the Boys Division.
