Victoria Vergara, an Icon of Women’s Longboarding, Joins the Rip Curl Team

Rip Curl is pleased to announce a new partnership with one of the most talented female surfers of her generation, longboarder Victoria Vergara.

Rip Curl is excited to welcome Victoria Vergara, a talented longboarder based in Hossegor, France, to the Rip Curl team.

Surfing since the age of twelve in New Caledonia and Réunion Island, Victoria’s affinity and aptitude for longboarding quickly become apparent and it wasn’t long before the surfing world took notice of her exceptional technical prowess and natural grace.

Vergara is also a competitor at heart, finishing in the top 10 worldwide in her first season on the World Surf League professional circuit. Today, she’s busy travelling the globe, from California to Japan and Hawaii, to participate in the Duct Tape Championships, events combining top-level surfing, art and music.

In addition to being an outstanding surfer, Victoria also cultivates a passion for fashion and design; equally at ease on a Fashion Week catwalk as on the nose of her longboard. Victoria Vergara navigates between both worlds, proving that nothing is impossible when you really want it.
