May 4, 2016 - Ala Moana - Honolulu, Hawaii: With a declining swell at Ala Moana Bowls the GromSearch International Final was put on hold for the day, which gave the groms a lay day to experience the local culture of Honolulu. The group was loaded into a 15 passenger van for a tour around Waikiki. First stop, Diamond Head to check the surf. Due to rainy conditions, the group stopped into the locals spot, Rainbow Drive-In for a quick plate lunch, once all were fueled up on chicken and rice it was time to hit Waikiki. Luckily, the rain stopped and the sun came out making it an ideal beach day, the groms had an epic time in the water on both outrigger canoes and tandem surfing, it was a day well spent.
Check back in tomorrow for the call, possible start to both boys and girls quarter finals.
