The opening days at the Rip Curl Pro Portugal offered up some of the best surf we’ve seen on the WSL webcast this year. Pumping, perfectly offshore, six-to-eight foot barrels pulsed through the lineup at Supertubos as rounds one, two and three were run and done. The world’s best had a canvas they could stretch out on, and they didn’t let it go to waste.

Rip Curl has officially announced the 16 surfers invited to compete in the Rip Curl Cup 2017, to be held on the best day of waves at Padang Padang between July 10 and August 10.
