HAT TRICK: Erin Brooks Makes It Three In A Row
Three events. Three wins. Erin Brooks is on a roll.
Erin Brooks has taken out the 2026 Lexus Trestles Pro, securing an incredible third consecutive Championship Tour victory.
The result makes the 19-year-old only the second woman in professional surfing history to win three CT events in a row in the same season, joining fellow Rip Curl surfer and eight-time World Champion Stephanie Gilmore, who achieved the feat in 2008.
Arriving at Lower Trestles fresh from back-to-back wins in Tahiti and Fiji, the Canadian carried her momentum straight into the high-performance walls of the iconic Californian A-frame.
Erin looked at home from the opening rounds, combining powerful rail surfing with the progressive approach that has made her one of the most exciting surfers on Tour.
Her road to the Final included a blockbuster Quarterfinal against five-time World Champion Carissa Moore, followed by a Semifinal victory over reigning World Champion and Rip Curl teammate Molly Picklum.
Facing current World No. 1 Gabriela Bryan in the Final, Erin established an early lead with a 7.00-point ride. She remained in control throughout the heat, sealing the victory with a 6.00 in the closing minutes for a winning 13.00-point total.
The three victories cap an incredible turnaround after a challenging start to the season. In just over a month, Erin has transformed her campaign, made surfing history and established herself as one of the most in-form surfers in the world.
“I cannot believe it,” Erin said following the win. “This event is so special to me. I grew up doing amateur events here. If you had told me at Stop No. 7 that I’d be where I am right now, I wouldn’t have believed you. The first part of the year was such a bummer, but this makes it so worth it.”
The victory completes an extraordinary three-event sweep that began with her breakthrough win at Teahupo’o in August. She followed it with another victory at Cloudbreak, returning to the venue where she claimed her maiden CT title as a wildcard in 2024.
Now, she has added Lower Trestles to the list.
With three straight CT wins behind her, Erin leaves California with more momentum than ever as the Championship Tour moves to Portugal for the MEO Rip Curl Pro.
Taking place from October 16 to 25, the event will see the world’s best surfers take on the powerful Supertubos as the race for the World Title intensifies.
Erin now jumps to World No. 5 on the women’s rankings, sitting just behind Molly Picklum at World No. 4 as she hunts down her second World Title.
