Rip Curl and Surfrider Foundation Present: The Coastal Defender Tour

Our coastlines hold a special place in our hearts and our planet’s ecosystem. Yet, they face constant threats from pollution and neglect.
Recognizing the importance of safeguarding these natural treasures, Rip Curl and the Surfrider Foundation have joined forces to launch the Coastal Defender Tour—an initiative that celebrates community action and environmental stewardship along some of North America's most iconic shores.
What is the Coastal Defender Tour?
The Coastal Defender Tour is not just another beach cleanup; it’s a movement that unites passionate individuals to protect and preserve our oceans and coastlines. Spanning across three key locations, this tour invites volunteers to roll up their sleeves and make a tangible difference in their local environments.

Tour Stops and Dates
June 14 - Southside Huntington Beach Pier, CA
Kicking off the tour at the Southside of Huntington Beach Pier, volunteers will converge to tackle debris and litter along this renowned stretch of California coastline.
