Rip Curl Releases Limited Edition ‘Los Angeles Strong’ T-shirt

In wake of the devastating wildfires that swept across Greater Los Angeles beginning January 7, 2025, Rip Curl has launched the specialty ‘Los Angeles Strong’ t-shirt.

Net proceeds from the sale of the limited-edition design will be donated to the Surf Industry Members Association (SIMA) Humanitarian Fund, supporting those directly impacted by the fires as they continue to recover and rebuild.

“We’ve been deeply saddened to witness the destruction caused by these wildfires and extend our heartfelt sympathy to all those affected,” said Kiki Prince, North America General Manager at Rip Curl. “Though we are relieved to see the Palisades and Eaton fires reach full containment, we acknowledge that recovery will require long-term effort and ongoing support.”  

The Rip Curl ‘Los Angeles Strong’ t-shirt not only represents solidarity with those affected but also provides Rip Curl customers with a direct way to contribute to fire recovery efforts. The SIMA Humanitarian Fund will use the much-needed funds to support the work of non-profit groups providing relief to those in need and helping rebuild the affected communities.
