Recycle Your WetsuitRecycle Your Wetsuit

We’ll recycle your old wetsuit.

Wetsuits are great. They keep us warm, protected and increase our ability to surf year round.
But when we’re done with them it can be tricky to figure out what to do next. That’s where we come in!
In partnership with in-country recycling facilities, we offer our Wetsuit Recycling program across Australia, we have launched our Wetsuit Recycling Program across Australia, USA,
France, Portugal and Spain. Now surfers across the globe can recycle any surf branded wetsuit at participating Rip Curl stores.

We have recycled over 32,761 wetsuits since we launched our Wetsuit Recycling Program.

Since launching our wetsuit recycling program in 2020, we have recycled over 30,000 wetsuits across the United States, Australia and Europe.
Your old wetsuits are being recycled into raw material used for the creation of things like soft fall matting at children's playgrounds around the globe.  Recycle your old, surfed out wetsuit (from any brand) at your local Rip Curl store, or mail it in.
